Vacancy available: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Willing to work rotating and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
