Rebar fixer — Madison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Madison County, Ohio. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
