VMC operator wanted in Santa Cruz County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Santa Cruz County, California. You will be based in a toolroom. The role involves: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
