Tig welder wanted in Jefferson Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
