Vacancy available: furnace operator (Sokoto State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a furnace operator in Sokoto North, Sokoto State. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
