Brick and block layer • Akamkpa, Cross River State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Akamkpa, Cross River State. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays 6+ years on the tools preferred.
