Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Comanche County, Kansas. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
