Immediate opening: tile fixer (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile fixer in Beadle County, South Dakota. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Day-to-day duties: • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
