Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Rowan County, Kentucky. You will be based on a housing development site. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Your main tasks: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels 2+ years on the tools preferred.
