Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Knox County, Illinois. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Six days a week, one day off.
