We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Daviess County, Kentucky. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
