Sample machinist wanted in Worcestershire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Worcestershire, England. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
