Urgent requirement: we are hiring a chef de partie in Livingston County, Illinois. The job is in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
