Now hiring: tube and fitting scaffolder (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Perry County, Illinois. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level What we are looking for: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Part-time with flexible hours.
