Great opportunity: gtaw welder (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Breathitt County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
