You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Full-time with occasional weekends.
