Argon welder wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Washington County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
