Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Lavaca County, Texas. You will be based in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
