Turning centre operator — Iron County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based in a tool room. On a typical shift you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
