Flatlock machine operator — Fermanagh and Omagh

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland. You will work on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching The role involves operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
