Metal caster wanted in Keana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Keana, Nasarawa State. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 3+ years on the tools preferred.
