Turning centre operator • Jefferson Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
