Now hiring: shuttering carpenter (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Kern County, California. On the job you will handle: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
