Offshore rigger — Cherokee County

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cherokee County, North Carolina. The job is on a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
