On a typical shift you will empty bins, replace liners and segregate the waste; restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals; spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points; clean public areas — lobbies, corridors, lifts and washrooms; report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering; strip and make beds with fresh linen and tight hospital corners.
