Single needle operator — Bartow County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Bartow County, Georgia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
