Argon welder — Strafford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Strafford County, New Hampshire. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
