Argon arc welder — Lee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Lee County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
