Kitchen steward — East Sussex

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen steward in East Sussex, England. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. You will mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature. You should have: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
