Aluminium TIG welder — Trego County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Trego County, Kansas. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
