Stamping press operator — Lenoir County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
