Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Habersham County, Georgia. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
