Die-casting operator • Traill County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Traill County, North Dakota. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
