Precision welder — McCurtain County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
