Fabricator-welder wanted in Denton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Denton County, Texas. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
