Gas installation technician — Pickens County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Pickens County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration You will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
