UPVC window fitter — Grimes County

Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Grimes County, Texas. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely The role involves: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
