Bodyshop painter — Door County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Door County, Wisconsin. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Full-time with occasional weekends.
