Steam press operator wanted in Harrison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steam press operator in Harrison County, Missouri. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
