Gas installation technician wanted in Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Clark County, Kentucky. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
