Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Nevada)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Mineral County, Nevada. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
