Natural gas fitter — Borough of Halton

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Borough of Halton, England. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. You will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer £2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
