Pipe tig welder — Williamsburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
