Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Montgomery County, Kentucky. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On a typical shift you will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Rotating shifts.
