Join our team: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Burlington County, New Jersey. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
