Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Stanislaus County, California. You will be based at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; score the top of loaves before baking; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds.
