Scaffold fitter — Otsego County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Otsego County, Michigan. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
