Urgent requirement: escalator technician (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Jefferson County, New York. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers.
