Occupational health and safety officer • Borough of Torbay, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Borough of Torbay, England. You will work on a high-rise building project. You will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
