Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
